The Stamp of Approval

I'm thrilled to announce that Adam's visa application has finally been approved! I have to admit...I was getting a wee bit nervous.  The Chinese consulate had denied Adam twice because of his occupation as a Christian pastor, and I was looking at traveling without my husband to receive Sophia.  But, thanks to all the prayer warriors out there, the third attempt was successful so we will travel to China as a family.  Hallelujah!!!

  1. I am new to following your blog. My husband and I (and our 3 children) are waiting for a referral for a limb difference child from China. Our dossier is in China already and we are quite anxious to be matched. So I have been reading blogs of people who are going through this process of adopting as well. This post intrigues me as my husband is also a pastor. I never thought about China not approving a visa because of his occupation. So thank you for bringing that to our attention. We will start the prayers now that this will not be a problem for us as well. I'm so glad you will not have to travel alone and that your husband will be able to be there with you. Blessings!!!
